This program bridges the gap between cosmetology school and a thriving career behind the chair by offering structured in-salon education with experienced Maribou Educators. You’ll gain technical skills, business strategies, and confidence through real, day-to-day salon experience.
You’ll learn everything schools don’t teach—how to actually become a successful stylist—from color theory and extensions to social media, consultations, and client retention. With guidance from our expert educators, you’ll leave this program fully equipped to take your career to the next level.
Maribou Salon Stylist Training Program Packages
New Stylist Training – Basic Package
Duration: 1 Month
Training Hours: 18 hours per week in-salon with a Maribou Salon Educator
What’s Included:
- Hands-on education covering technical skills, color theory, social media, customer service, hairstylist fundamentals, and extensions
- Access to any Maribou classes within 6 months of training
- Personalized mentorship with a Maribou Educator
- Opportunity to be invited to join Maribou as an Associate at the end of the program

New Stylist Training – Custom Package
Duration: 2 Months
Training Hours: 18 hours per week in-salon with a Maribou Salon Educator
What’s Included:
- Hands-on education covering technical skills, color theory, social media, customer service, hairstylist fundamentals, and extensions
- Access to any Maribou classes within 12 months of training
- Personalized mentorship with a Maribou Educator
- Four one-hour coaching sessions with Larry (Salon Owner) or Amber (Salon Co-Owner & SSBC Business Consultant)
- Advanced training in cutting, color, extensions, social media, and business growth
- Opportunity to be invited to join Maribou as an Associate at the end of the program
